Make someone's day, everyday.

Making new friends. Catching up with old ones. I like that shit =] Get to know one another, we're all friends here.

It’s sad that such a wonderful feeling still has the contradicting power to actually frighten me.

The sexiest thing in the entire world is being really smart; and being thoughtful and being generous. Everything else is crap. I promise you. It’s just crap that people try to sell to you to make you feel less. So don’t buy it.

From this angle, you see a bunch of stuff in and around a cart, probably a homeless man’s belongings. On the other side i spotted a man sitting in a chair, writing on some paper. I drove to the nearest open restaurant ( Jack in the Box), ordered four tacos, a jumbo jack, 5 nuggets, and a large Coke. I drove back to this man and told him I that regardless of my lack of religious orientation, wanted to make his night out a little easier , so i bought him some food. Ken, as he later introduced himself, looked confused at first, but then accepted the food with a big smile on his face.

Now I had no intention of sharing this story at all, but what followed next had me both grinning from ear to ear and wrenched my heartstrings. I had given food to homeless people on the street before, but never have I ever had somebody attempt to give me something back. For about 3 minutes, Ken fumbled around his belongings to look for “something to give as a fair exchange”. I told him I was asking for nothing, but he insisted and ended up giving me two bottles of hair conditioner. Small tokens, but the principle behind the exchange remained. Ken, who had been on the streets for years, had appeared to have little to give, and yet without a home, had reciprocated an action of giving back. I wished Ken a goodnight, and that man gave me one of the most genuine hugs from one stranger to another. I went back into my car, and as I passed by his cart one last time for the night, I opened my passenger window and said to Ken, “God Bless.” And then I drove away.

Seriously, try to #makesomeonesdayeveryday and just #give to your fellow persons. #giving is not only for the holidays, my friends, give pieces of yourself to everything and everyone you encounter. Thank you for taking time to read this and remember that this is your life, but it is your choice to share a collective happiness, your happiness with others. All jokes aside, Peace Love Unity Respect.
